"Sharing Songs About Our Savior"
Steve Ladd
Steve Ladd History

Steve Ladd began singing tenor full time in 1997 with The Anchormen. Steve traveled full time with the Anchormen until 2004. At this time Steve left the Anchormen to fulfill a lifelong dream of singing tenor with Gold City. The tenor position at Gold City had recently been vacated by Jay Parrack. Upon getting the job at Gold City Steve relocated from North Carolina to Gadsden, Alabama.

Steve traveled with Gold City for 5 years and is featured on several incredible Gold City songs. Most memorable of these is likely to be "Preach The Word." "Preach The Word" is a tenor ballad recorded on the 2006 Revival album by New Haven Records. The message of "Preach The Word" is simple yet profound and powerful. Despite what we are going through in life Preach the world of Christ. Preach the gospel at all may hear and salvation can be brought "to a lost and dying world."

In 2009 Steve left the tenor position at Gold City and began a solo career in southern gospel music. Steve has had several solo albums released and adds a great variety, to his solo style. These albums can reach across the aisle to different age groups, social back ground and musical influences to share the gospel.

In 2017 Steve joined The Old Paths as tenor singer and has been singing with them since that time. Steve still does the occasional solo date and will book revival and special events when possible.
