The Booth Brothers History

The Booth Brothers was originally formed in 1957 as a Quartet involving brothers James (Baritone), Wallace (Bass), Charles (Lead), and Ron (Tenor).  The group was originally based in Detroit, MI. Originally the booth brothers were a regional group traveling together until 1963 when Ron left the group to sing with the Toney Brothers.

In 1990 Ron along with his two sons Michael and Ronnie brought the group name back forming a trio. The group traveled together in this fashion until 1998 when Ron Booth retired. Since 1998 the group has seen a limited number of personnel changes. They have had number one songs on the singing news top 80 chart, and received several singing news fan awards.

In 2021 Ronnie Booth retired and Buddy Mullins was hired to sing the lead part.
